BKBKシリーズに関しては、各モデルで使用している糸は異なりますが、染色はすべて同じ方法で行っています。

などの色落ちの参考にもしていただけると思います。
何度もお伝えしていますが、「黒」という色をデニムで表現するには、実はさまざまな手法があります。
なかには、色落ちと共に赤みを帯びてくる生地も存在します。
そういったタイプの生地は、色が抜けた時点で“寿命”と考えられることもありますが、TCBで使用しているブラックデニムは違います。

真っ黒な状態から、まっすぐにフェードしていく――
そんな“育てるブラック”だと思っていただけたら嬉しいです。

新品時は、まさに漆黒という言葉が似合う色合いですが、今日ご紹介しているジャケットくらいに色が落ちてくると、ステッチの表情も際立ってきて、よりカッコよく見えてくる気がします。

As we’ve mentioned many times, there are various methods for creating black denim.
Some fabrics, depending on how they’re made, will start to show reddish tones as they fade.
In those cases, once the color fades, the fabric is often considered to have reached the end of its lifespan.
But that’s not the case with TCB’s black denim.

Our fabric fades straight from black—no red hues—just a clean, honest fade.
You could say it’s a kind of “black you can break in and grow with.”

When new, it’s truly jet black. But once it’s worn and faded to the level of the jacket we’re showcasing today, the stitching starts to really pop, giving it a whole new coolness and character.
