私自身も最近は毎日のように着用しているCatHead。
9.5ozのライトオンス生地なので、真夏日が続くこの季節でも「まぁいける！」と自分に言い聞かせながら（笑）、愛用しています。
車移動が中心の生活だとまったく問題ないですし、何より、AirPodsや鍵などのちょっとした持ち物であればカバン要らずで済むこの収納力が、やっぱり便利。

一見するとライトオンス＝凹凸感が少なめに思われるかもしれませんが、
このCatHeadは、異なる形状の8番手と9番手の糸を織り交ぜて織り上げた、実はなかなかにクセのある生地。
今はまだ私の一着も色落ちは始まりたてですが、
「このアタリは8番の方だな」「こっちは9番の糸かも」と識別できる日が来るのを、いまから楽しみに育てています。

We’ve finalized the production schedule for the CatHead JK, so we’re opening up pre-orders starting today.

I’ve been wearing my own CatHead jacket pretty much every day lately.
At 9.5oz, the fabric is light enough that I can convince myself it’s still wearable—even in the middle of a hot summer (laughs).
Since I mostly drive and live a door-to-door lifestyle, it’s totally fine for me. And as I always say, one of the best things about this jacket is its storage capacity—you don’t even need a bag for things like your keys or AirPods.

At first glance, the light ounce fabric might seem like it lacks texture or character.
But actually, it’s woven using both 8-count and 9-count yarns of different shapes, which gives it a surprisingly complex feel.
My own CatHead hasn’t really started fading yet, but I’m looking forward to the day when I can say,
“This fade must be from the 8-count yarn,” or “This one looks like the 9-count starting to show.”
