Late S40’sは、同じ「大戦モデル」をルーツにしながらも、S40’sとはまったく異なるレシピで仕立てた一本です。

ヴィンテージの大戦モデルを10本集めれば、10通りの個性がある。
それがデニムの奥深さであり、TCBがジーンズを作るうえで大事にしている考え方でもあります。

生地、縫製仕様、シルエット、ボタンのチョイス――
どこを取っても“同じようで違う”。
まるでジャズを聴いているような感覚に陥るのが、大戦モデルの最大の魅力です。

Late S40’s JKは、その中でも「やや後期の大戦」をイメージした、いわゆる“ダウンパッチモデル”。
実際に穿き込んでいくと、色落ちの仕方やアタリの出方にも確かな違いが現れてきて、
「同じ大戦モデルなのに、こんなにも違うんだ」と実感してもらえるはずです。

とはいえ、連日35度近いこの暑さ。
今このタイミングでGジャンを着よう、とはなかなか思えないですよね（笑）

でも、いざ涼しくなってからセットアップを探しても、上下同時に揃う保証はありません。

The Late S40’s shares its roots with the wartime models, but it’s made with a completely different recipe compared to the original S40’s.

If you collect ten vintage wartime models, you’ll find ten different personalities.
That’s the true depth of denim—and it’s the kind of perspective we value most when making jeans at TCB.

Fabric, sewing specs, silhouette, button choices—
everything may look similar on the surface, but the details tell a different story.
It’s a bit like listening to jazz: subtle variations and improvisations are what make it special.

The Late S40’s Jacket is inspired by the slightly later wartime models, often referred to as the “down patch” type.
As you wear it in, you’ll begin to notice distinct fades and wear patterns that set it apart.
You might find yourself thinking, “It’s the same wartime model, but it feels totally different.”

That said, with the temperature hitting close to 35°C every day,
we get it—wearing a denim jacket right now might not be at the top of your list (laughs).

But once the weather cools down, there’s no guarantee you’ll be able to find both the jacket and the jeans as a set.
